Why choose methods like EFT?

To facilitate change within us—one that might seem trivial to you, yet is of great importance in reclaiming one’s quality of life.

Our deeply ingrained habits of resisting change create rigidity. This rigidity stops movement and diminishes our ability to live with ease amidst the variables inherent to life. We are energy—vibrational frequencies that, in a state of overall healthy biofield function, constantly shift between high, medium, and low ranges.

If you exist solely within the high, medium, or low ranges, you create rigidity, a lack of elasticity, and therefore health issues. In short, this is how Dr. Valerie Hunt describes the triggering of the aging process and the health problems that the world has been experiencing for far too long.

This is where energy medicine methods come into play, supporting the health of our biofields to enhance the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual quality of the human being as an energetic whole.

These methods combine cognitive interventions with somatic techniques that act upon human bioenergetic systems—such as meridians, chakras, and the bioenergetic field. It has been shown that these approaches are evidence-based, cost-effective, and foster personal autonomy. Self-help is crucial today for facilitating profound changes, such as:

  • The resolution of trauma, anxiety states, and other clinical conditions;

  • The ability to live and work in a state of flow;

  • Enhanced greatness in artistic, athletic, academic, or professional experiences;

  • A life characterized by deeper connection, greater love, and increased clarity;

  • Resilience in the face of change.

Historically, energy medicine has integrated concepts and techniques from related fields—such as Donna Eden’s "9 Energy Systems" theory, neuroscience, physics (including quantum mechanics), biology, medicine, chiropractic, and psychology.

Since the 1970s, these methods have been developed, refined, and supported by both clinical experience and research conducted across a wide range of sectors. They have, for instance, been successfully incorporated into psychotherapy, nursing, medicine, coaching, sports, education, and the workplace, among other areas.

In a future article, we will explore the emergence of "Neuro Tap," developed by The Tapping Solution Foundation and the Ortner family and partners. An App created in guided Tapping is now covered by Original Medicare in the United States and has been integrated into the medical field—truly excellent news!
